The 2018 Blended Burger Project™. The Right Thing to Do. The Right Way to Make a Difference.

A panel of food experts selected by the James Beard Foundation will determine five winners from the top 20 entries with the most online votes. Experts, including Andrew Zimmern (James Beard Award-winning TV personality), Susan Westmoreland (Culinary Director, Good Housekeeping), and Antoinette Bruno (CEO,, will determine the top five winners based on (1) most creative use of mushrooms, (2) best flavor profile and (3) presentation.

"ARES" : Home Made Sesame Pita Bun, 50%Colorado Grass fed Ground Lamb, 25% Ground Sirloin Steak, 25% Finely Chopped Oven Roasted brown Beech Mushrooms, topped with Aged melted Kefalograviera Cheese, Served on a bed of Arugula, Beefsteak Tomatoes, Season with Greek Oregano, Turkish paprika, Roasted Garlic and Topped with Pickled Red Onion dressed with Fresh Parsley ,Mint, Sumac, Touch of lemon juice and Greek Sea salt.
